About Us

Welcome to Adventures in Family Land! We planned on starting this as a general blog about the adventure of being a family – Every day is chance for new adventures in ‘Family Land’! – but also decided to make it about any travels we’ve done over the years too, so the name fits in even more.

In addition to adding our family adventures to the site, we’ll be adding travel tips, ideas, days out, reviews and recommendations and articles about daily family life. We’re all shiny and new right now, so there’ll be lots more to see soon.

My little shadow and myself are looking forward to sharing our family adventures with you and can hopefully provide inspiration for you to have your own adventures too – however big or small – after all, some of the biggest smiles I’ve seen from little man have simply been in our own back garden, hunting for bugs.

See you all soon! 🙂

If you want to get in touch, drop us a line at: familylandadventures@gmail.com

As we’ll be out and about all over the place, email is the preferred way of contact. If you wish to speak to us by phone, just drop us a line and we can ring you at a time that suits both of us.

If you don’t receive a reply within a couple of days, it’s most probably because we’re on the road with no internet, so please give us chance!

Work with us

A bit about me (mummy): I have a background in media, having worked as a sub-editor and as an editorial designer on a national newspaper, and several magazines, for many years. In recent years, I have taken a backseat and have been a stay-at-home mum, keeping my toes in the water by taking on occasional freelance design work. Now it’s time to get back to it and to click the grey matter back into gear, so I’m really excited about this website and where I (and we as a family) want to take it.

We would love to work with you, but we’d have to ensure that any products or visits do tie in with our website. We only include affiliate links to products or companies we have used ourselves, or links which may be relevant to the copy.

Our media pack will be available here in the next few months.

We’d love to hear from you, in whatever capacity. We’re a constant work in progress, so if you have any feedback, suggestions or ideas, we’d love to hear from you too. Please get in touch via: familylandadventures@gmail.com

Sponsorship, Affiliates and Advertisements

Adventures in Family Land are very happy to comply with Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) guidelines and as such, in addition to banner advertisements, we’d like to inform you that this site has some affiliate and sponsorship relationships as a form of income for our family business. On any page with any affiliate or sponsored links, you’ll find, at minimum, the below text:

Adventures in Family Land has affiliate and sponsorship relationships as a form of income for our family business. If you have any questions, please click here.

We only ever tell you in glowing terms about products, days out, attractions, links, hotels or websites which we personally recommend, and any reviews are fully our own – if we don’t like the product, we will tell you! If we have been invited to stay anywhere in exchange for a review or have been asked to test a product for the website, we will tell you on the individual page – and we’ll most certainly give you our honest opinion.

You will not pay any more by clicking via any of these external links, and sometimes we can even provide great offers via our affiliate partners – bonus!

Thank you for your support, and if you have any further questions on this topic, please get in touch: familylandadventures@gmail.com
